TODAY on MHTV: I learned a lot about cooking from Julia Child, and I’m making a few recipes in her honor. For my spin on Coq au Vin, a classic French chicken dish, I’m turning it into a casserole: chicken thighs braised in white wine sauce then baked with egg noodles, Muenster cheese, and a sprinkle of Panko bread crumbs. Then, I’m making an omelet in the French style, just like Julia would have, by cooking eggs in butter and topping them with fresh herbs. On the side, greens tossed with a simple vinaigrette. More from the show.
PS: Let me know what you think of my special “appearance” during the show!
