Recipes From Today’s Show: Kid Friendly Menu

Published by

Today on MHTV: Cooking for kids isn’t always easy, they can be picky, fussy and downright hard to please. They do, though, love eating with their hands so today I’m going to make some finger friendly foods that both the kids and adults can agree on. My turkey tacos are a great one-pot dish; all the ingredients get cooked together and then scooped up into the taco shells and topped with my fresh and easy Pico de Gaillo. Getting kids to “eat their veg”  can be a battle but my Bread & Butter Pickled Vegetables are a winner with the little ones.  My Strawberry Lemonade Popsicles that are so easy to make, they’re the perfect excuse to get the kids in the kitchen.

    MH,

Tacos are my families favorites, so today’s recipes are quite helpful. Also, thanks for turning me on to John Contratti’s blog. The recipes are fabulous and this week’s theme preparing for your Tony Awards party, for those of us that have them, is quite cool. I hope Mad Hungry resumes new episodes (have seen them all) and has this gentleman back.
