Banana Daiquiri

Makes 2 8-Ounce Servings
This frozen drink is a happy hour favorite at north coast resorts. It tastes like dessert and slides down so smoothly, but beware of the creeping rum sensation.


  • 3/4 cup rum (6 ounces)
  • 1 1/2 ripe bananas, peeled
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 strip lime rind
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 10 ice cubes


  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a blender jar and blend on high speed until the texture is smooth. Serve in glasses with a lime wedge and an extra splash of rum.
