Recipes from Today’s Show: Chinese Takeout

Published by

TODAY on MHTV: Like most families, we occasionally order Chinese takeout for dinner and I’ve got my own versions of some of my family’s favorite dishes. Great as a main course, my home-style stir-fried chicken is loaded with peanuts, Chinese red peppers and scallions. Simple and quick, cold sesame noodles and a unique celery, cilantro and chili oil salad are the perfect accompaniments to the chicken. More from the show.

I love your new show. I use my DVR to record both episodes while I’m at work. Your family is so lovely and loving. Good job raising such wonderful boys, Lucinda! Keep the great recipes coming.

You’ve inspired me to start cooking again and including my granddaughter.

    Thanks so much.

I made your sesame noodles tonight and they were definitely a hit–so easy and fast. I decided to add toasted sesame seeds before serving, and everyone wanted seconds. This is a perfect recipe for a cold lunch along with the celery salad.

Your recipes are always fantastic Lucinda and easy to follow. My husband and I are really enjoying cooking along with you and your show.
