My friend Randi Harris, a new mother, is stopping by to learn a few of my favorites: a cozy chicken livornese, braised in a rich stew of olives, capers, and plum tomatoes, and served with my easy arborio rice. Mix ups happen. It’s just great to see that people are watching and want the recipes. Please make more new episodes of Mad Hungry. These repeats are enough. We need to know more new episodes are going to be made.

I’m glad someone posted John Contratti’s blog. The recipes (like here) are outstanding. It is way over due that this gentleman hasn’t returned to Mad Hungry yet.

I agree with you Helene. The one guest who received more praise than anyone, hasn’t been back yet. Let’s hope MH does right by the guy, who made more people aware of the show than anyone else. More people know about Mad Hungry through him than the Hallmark Channel. (which when you ask anyone, they don’t even know what the Hallmark Channel is) Which is a shame because they’re missing out on a good cooking show.

I emailed the Hallmark Channel about the future of MH with NEW EPISODES and this was their reply dated May 29, 2012
“Many shows from the MSLO brand such Emeril’s Kitchen, Mad Hungry will continue though scheduling has not yet been determined.”
I used the “Contact US” on their website to ask my question. They are not very forthcoming but they do tell me that the show is continuing.

Thanks so much for the info. Hopefully Hallmark will get their act together and Mad Hungry will get back into production. I’m a big fan of John Contratti and his blog and want to see him return to Mad Hungry to cook some of the great things he has out there. . Hopefully it will all work out. Thanks again!! 🙂
