Recipes from Today’s Show: Do-Ahead Brunch

Published by

TODAY on MHTV: I’m having some company over for brunch, but I don’t want to be running around while everyone is here, so I prepped all my dishes last night.
Genius, right? A hearty breakfast strata has layers of ham, shredded cheddar cheese, scallions and chunks of bread; the whole thing marinates in Dijon mustard-spiked eggs and in the morning, bakes up fluffy and golden. Sweet coconut bread is best buttered up, toasted and spread with homemade pineapple jam. For a cool, refreshing juice drink I steep the leftover pineapple peels in water and spices. I made the Cuban style pork roast. There must be a mistake in the recipe it was so salty I was unable to eat it.

Love your tv program and recipes; but find your computer print-off’s as unfriendly…in fact, my computer WILL NOT print the recipes in their totality. Had I not seen your tv program of said recipes, I would not be able to comprehend them. There seems to be over-writings over the ingredients making manuel copying a chore at the very best. I am the first to admit I AM a novice at the computer and would be receptive to any suggestions you have to offer.
Continued success on your TV show.
