TODAY on MHTV: I love lingering over a lazy fall brunch with my family and friends, but when the boys were young, the weekends were always a bit hectic. Over the years, I’ve developed some great go-to recipes that can be made ahead — homemade chicken-sage sausage patties and a rich maple Bundt cake, leaving only some fluffy scrambled eggs with chives for the morning.

    Instead of the cottage cheese, I’m going to try ricotta cheese in the scrambled eggs.

    Looks all fresh and yummy! If The Brunch was a person I might actually get married to it. A few of our favorites brunch dishes here too
