Red Hot Wings
[picasa username=”lsq713″ albumname=”RedHotWings510″] Such a fantastic extended family weekend. So many meals to cook, so many great cooks in the house and so little time! Here baby bro mans the grill for his hot wings, a double dipping situation in which the wings slow smoke for a while, then are dipped in a hot sauce,… View Article

When You Think THere’s No Food in The House to Cook
[picasa username=”lsq713″ albumname=”NothingInTheHouseToCookRedCabbagePasta”] It happens to all of us. We get home-from work or whatever. You think you have no food , no plans but its 7:00, there are hungry people around you and even if you order pizza or Chinese, it’ll take too long. The guys were defeated and I almost too but I… View Article
Rib Dinner
[picasa username=”lsq713″ albumname=”RibDinner510″] Here was the deal. I’d get ribs–enough for everyone, meaning one rack per person (an investment). That’s all I had to deal with shopping-wise. In this house you don’t even want to cook ribs unless you’re SURE they’ll be enough.
Graduation Weekend
[picasa username=”lsq713″ albumname=”CQGraduationWeekend”] See the awesome food/entertaining June issue of Martha Stewart Living. Burgers (and The Guys Clean Up)
When I was told the guys were barbecuing and all I had to do was make the potato salad and burger fixings, I was psyched. I believed them. Still it was a bicker-fest between neo-big-green-egg-expert hubs and first born son who I understood was, “maning the grill.” I can grill better than both of them… View Article

Taco Time
[picasa username=”lsq713″ albumname=”TacoBar510″] Was craving the fresh vegetal, spice of green chilies so, I went with a taco bar for dinner. Made fish tacos on MARTHA this week which reminded me how beloved this dinner is in our house–an awesome one because you can just assemble a bunch of ingredients–according to taste or what you… View Article
