Recipes from Today’s Show: Authentic Southern Dishes

Published by

TODAY on MHTV: Who better to make a Southern menu with than someone from the South? My friend Virginia Willis, a true Southerner and chef, is here to show me how to make a few classic dishes. We’re taking deviled eggs to the next level by adding butter to the mix, making them extra creamy while broiled chicken wings get a coca-cola glaze spiced with jalapenos and lime juice. For dessert, peach-lined ramekins are topped with a light, airy topping for a sweet soufflé that is too good for words. More from the show.

Loved your show today Lucinda with your friend Virginia from Georgia. I have picked peaches in Georgia in July-very hot but soooo worth it. Can’t wait to make the souffles and also the chix wings-yummy!

I too loved your show today. The past week or two you have had such great shows and guests. Loved Virgina today and last week’s teacher, John. Let’s see them again. It’s like revisiting with friends when you bring people back.

    Sincerely,
    Pat

Happy Memorial Day Weekend. Lucinda. I hope you have a wonderful weekend with your family. This weekend I’m making Virginia Willis’ deviled eggs and John Contratti’s eggplant rollatini. Like the previous blogger, they were two great guests on your show.

I am a big fan of chicken wings and I love all the chicken wings recipes on the show. I can wait to try this one.
BTW, I also think the guest that you have on the shows are special. They are not as “commercial” as most guests that I used to see on a cooking show. I feel that I can related to the way they cook.

Full agreement with Amy. “Real” guests who cook are what makes the show special. I hope to see new episodes with these special guests again. Truly loved Virgina and teacher John.

. This should be free to the puiblc. After all, Poliomyelitis (polio) was cured because the scientist who invented it, did not want to make money off the suffering of people. Yes, he found a cure that saved the world. But it is makes sense to spread good information to others who are suffering. To try and make money off of them is wrong. But that’s an opinion.Oh, and to Lucinda basset. I appreciate your efforts, but I still think its wrong of you to not pay your call center workers unless they sell the product. The script is very cleverly written that you feed them. I can always tell when people are reading a script. But you should just give this information away for free, and not prey on the anxiety ridden people of the world. To all those AR technical writers in the world. Yes, I know that I have Spelling mistakes and grammar errors. Blame the educational system of the USA.Help other customers find the most helpful reviewsa0Was this review helpful to you?a0 | a0
