Recipes from Today’s Show: Healthy Burger Shack

Published by

TODAY on MHTV: My son Calder loves burgers, shakes, fries, and all the other bad-for-you goodies found at typical fast-food joints. Today he’s helping me turn these guilty pleasures into healthy revelations. We’re spiking chicken burgers with chives for extra flavor, baking potato poppers for the french fry fans, and washing it all down with strawberry-buttermilk shakes. More from the show.

    Dear Lucinda,
I’m new to watching your show and I love it. My problem is if I go on you web site, I get everything but the recipe. Today I tuned in a little late, but I really want the healthy chicken burgers and the potato poppers. I was also looking for the won ton wrapper recipes. The best thing about your show is I don’t need a ton of ingredients. Do I have to buy your book? If they’re not on your site, I will gladly buy it. Thank you.

Why no more videos with the recipes this season? It’s very convenient to have both.

    Love your work,

Bring back the videos please. How ridiculous not to have them.

I agree, bring back the video clips. There are so many tips that are not always included along with the recipes. It is nice to be able to look back and watch how things are made.

I love these recipes! They are super delicious and healthy. My family had a blast last night. We were so surprised how good the flavors came together on the strawberry-buttermilk shake. Wow! Lucinda, great recipe.

I love Mad Hungry and LSQ! You are an inspiration and since MHTV began last year I no longer look at meal planning as a chore. Every night when we gather around the table, somebody will ask “is this a Lucinda recipe?” 😀

I have not seen a single episode of MH this new season since the show archive and videos have been removed from the Martha Stewart website, and that is a HUGE bummer. Would be nice if someone from MSLO could address this – so many of us have posted comments about how disappointed we are to no longer have the videos available. Please please please bring them back!

LSQ, keep up the great work, and thanks for making my family so happy with all the terrific recipes!

Burger shack is good and a healthy food, that I could suggest to anybody. The photo is excellent.

My daughter and I love to watch your show and try your recipes. We live in Italy and it is the only possibility for us to watch you. Please bring back the videos!!!!

I wanted to actually comment on a recipe from this episode: The baked potato poppers were delicious. They were easy to make, and baked up wonderfully. The Panko coating was delicious and crunchy. Definitely a keeper recipe. No more frozen tater tots for us! Thanks, Lucinda!!!!!!!
