Recipes from Today’s Show: Sunday’s Brunch, Monday’s Lunch
TODAY on MHTV: I love to cook on Sundays because I have a little more time to spend in the kitchen, plus, I can make a few extra things to have for the week. For a hearty Sunday brunch I like to make a cheesy spinach and ham pie with a flakey cream cheese crust. The best part about this pie though, is that it keeps really well so if I make enough I’ve got a delicious lunch for Monday too. On the side, a simple salad of fresh greens drizzled with olive oil and vinegar is all you need to balance out the meal. More from the show.

Watch ”Mad Hungry with Lucinda Scala Quinn” Mondays at 11:30 a.m. ET/10:30 a.m. CT, Tuesdays through Fridays at 11 a.m. ET and 11:30 a.m. ET on Hallmark Channel.
I have quickly become a fan of Lucinda and her recipes. The recipes are made with reasonable ingredients and skill. Her presentation is pleasant and comfortable. The food is great for a family meal or entertaing. Good work.
Lucinda, I really get a lot out of your show. It’s not always the receipes I need, although they’re great, but it’s a very informative show. I learn things, and I’m 69 yrs. old. Your tips and hints as you prepare the food are wonderful. I also enjoy seeing your son there with you. You can tell that he is so proud of you and loves you very much. That is wonderful for young people to see, that mom is still very worthy of their love. Thank you for all you do.
I have had no answer to my inquiry about St Joseph table e.i. spagetti with sarde fenocci/crean puffs.
The show is GREAT and very informative! However; the lead in music is horrible – I’m not even sure if music is the correct word 🙁 Can it be changed?
Just wanted to say that I made this for my family last night and it was a huge hit! Such a delicious recipe and a great way to get everyone to eat some spinach. Thanks for the recipe!
This was absolutely delicious, but I had a difficult time with the crust. It kind of fell apart, so I just pasted it together. The recipe shows refrigerating 1 hour, but Lucinda said 30 minutes on the show. Maybe it didn’t get cold enough? This was better than any quiche I’ve had out. I’ll definitely make it again. Thanks, Lucinda!
