Recipes from Today’s Show: Healthy Burger Shack

Published by

TODAY on MHTV: My son Calder loves burgers, shakes, fries, and all the other bad-for-you goodies found at typical fast-food joints. Today he’s helping me turn these guilty pleasures into healthy revelations. We’re spiking chicken burgers with chives for extra flavor, baking potato poppers for the french fry fans, and washing it all down with strawberry-buttermilk shakesMore from the show.

Everyone is saying that Mad Hungry has been cancelled. If there are no more new shows being made, then the show has been cancelled. Let’s stop jerking the viewers along here. We’ve supported this show from the beginning and the respect level for those of us who care is rude and inconsiderate. Where is the respect?

I heard the same thing that Claudia is saying. It’s a shame. It was my favorite cooking show.

I knew it wasn’t coming back with new episodes. I felt that way when Lucinda commented in such an odd way after the new year. She never said they were making new episodes. It’s a shame. It was a good show.

I don’t know why anyone is surprised. There has been nothing but repeats and they can’t say they’re making new episodes. No wonder the Hallmark Channel morning line up has crashed and burned. Just leave the old TV classics on.

I just discovered this show and love it. It is all new to me and the recipes are afordable to make unlike other cooking shows. I do hope it is not over. How sad they keep moving Mad Hungry around to make room for Martha.

I use to like the food channel but not anymore, you turn the TV on its repeat, especially on weekends, but when i discovered this channel it was my favorite, too bad they are ruining this channel too.

If this show is cancelled I will be so so sad. I have learned so much from Lucinda. She cooks just like I love to- frugaly, healthy and with fun and flare. I have been watching cooking shows for years and this has been my favorite since it came out. What a breath of fresh air Lucinda is. DO NOT CANCEL Mad Hungry!!!!!!!!!!! (My parents love this show too!)

I will be very unhappy if the Mad Hungry show is cancelled and there will be no new episodes. I have learned so much from the show and love Lucinda’s personality and approach to cooking. It will be a real loss. Carolyn

      Hi Carolyn,

We have no plans of canceling Mad Hungry. We’re working on developing a new show. As soon as we have new details we will absolutely pass them on.

      Thanks for your patience,
