Recipes From Today’s Show: Greek Night

Published by

Today on MHTV: Whenever I have Greek food, I am instantly brought back to my childhood in Detroit when I would visit Greek Town to get authentic and delicious dishes. Today, I’m making a menu inspired by those childhood memories. Colorful Greek salad is topped with feta and dressed with a red wine vinaigrette. Essentially the “Greek egg drop soup,” avgolemono soup is rich with eggs, rice and a bit of lemon juice. And, don’t forget dessert! We’ll put together a Greek yogurt cake that’s simple and delicious.

Any news about Mad Hungry? Hallmark keeps promoting it’s new morning programming for the fall.

I love your show! I used to watch you on PBS and was sad when the show ended. Is it possible that you could do a meatless meal for those of us trying to ease up on eating meat? Being married to a Veg-Head and trying to eventually become one myself, I constantly look for ideas that are family friendly. I have a 9 year who hates the word vegetarian and a 5 year old who doesn’t really eat meat anyway.

    Thanks

Probably the best salad I’ve ever eaten. I didn’t have all the vegies called for, but the dressing was great. My wife loved it also. I added some grilled chicken and it was even better.
