CINCI/DAYTON

Published by

Great to visit Midwestern Culinary academy, meet cool anchor Tanya O’Rourke at The Scripp’s affiliate and visit with Rob and Sheila at Fox this am. Michaels in Dayton, thanks for the cocktail signing (always a good thing: cocktails at a book signing) and Books & Co, pictured above did the best in store promotion for MH (an authors dream). Events coordinator Sharon is a pro of all pro’s.

Was really gonna try and make it to Skyline for Cincinnati Chili, but after tasting it at the culinary school, I figured it is one local specialty I could forgo. Arrived back at the gracious old Cincinnatian Hotel for another incredible meal at The Palace. Seriously folks, don’t dismiss hotel dining–it could just end up like this. Queen’s native Jose Salazar and local talent Summer Genetti with Host John McClean rock one of the most formidable dining experiences I’ve had in a while (2nd night nonetheless). Heading home tomorrow for the weekend before heading out to PA/DC/WV etc on Monday. Reading, rest, cooking–aahh, home sweet home. Thanks to Kathy T for whirlwinding me through southwest Ohio!
