Holiday Cocktail Contest Announcement

Published by

With all the parties coming up this holiday season, there are tons of different seasonal drinks that make the rounds. We all have our personal favorites here at MH; I love to make lemon drop-champagne punch, Lo is pretty fond of eggnog and Sam likes anything bubbly. What’s your signature holiday party cocktail?

Send in your very own cocktail recipe and include a brief description of how your yuletide beverage came to be. You could win a Martha Stewart Cocktail Glass Set, a Martha Stewart 7-piece Barware Set and a Mad Hungry Cookbook! And, even if you already own a fancy cocktail shaker, you can use your winnings as a gift for someone else. Tis the season, right?

Email your entry (drink recipe, story, picture of your cocktail, and contact info) to madhungrylsq@gmail.com with the subject line MH Holiday Cocktail Contest by Tuesday, December 14—the MH Team is psyched to test these out.

Cheers!

PS–Don’t forget to tune in to the MH primetime special, MAD Hungry for the Holidays, this Monday 12/6 at 9 pm/et on the Hallmark Channel!

No purchase necessary. Contest ends 12/14/2010. Entrants must be legal U.S. residents of one of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years or older. Void where prohibited. See Official Rules.

This looks so refreshing! I tuned in to your show over the weekend and loved it. I love your cozy set kitchen also! The show inspired me to make the chicken parmisan, using thin-sliced chicken breast cutlets. They were amazing, and the sauce is so easy I’ll never buy jarred again. Thank you!

I think that Lucinda and adorable and when it comes to watching Martha or Luncinda its really hard to decide. She is so refreshing the way she approaches cooking it like being right in her kitchen, up close and personal.

Lord Have Mercy! Can’t imagine mixing Vodka and Champagne together. Would this not give give a person a gigantic hangover?

This is for Lucinda. 1st time today watched you on t.v. loved it! Watched you on Everyday Food when you had the original cast and Ms. Stewart wasn’t involved. Loved that also!

I would like to know how to send info to Lucinda via email; not sure if this does that.

I’m Mad Mad Mad for your show — have bought 2 of your 3 cookbooks (not the Jamacan) and want more more more.

My husband is the cook and he and I watch every show and most often make the recipe.

Is there a way that info/alerts etc can be emailed to me since I don’t tweet, don’t look at my facebook account, or use any of the access accounts you listed.
