Recipes From Today’s Show: Italian Comfort Food

Published by

TODAY on MHTV: Thanksgiving was great but it’s time for a break from the turkey. I’m making some of my favorite comfort foods including polpette (Italian meatloaf), a simple and healthy side of steamed spinach and chunky mashed potatoes mixed with ricotta cheese for extra flavor. My great Aunt Carolina’s wine taralli cookies get a special glaze for dessert. More from the show.

This is the easiest recipe I have ever tried and so good. My husband loved these cookies. Later his brother and sister-in-law and came over and we sat around my kitchen island just talking and eating cookies. They loved them. We are having a family reunion this july the 3rd, and I was asked to bring these cookies. “Gladly”, I said. They are so easy to make! Thanks Lucinda. I love your show. I watch it every morning or just listen to you if I am busy getting ready or cleaning house. I love all the stories you tell.
