    Please keep this blog going with links to the recipes and past shows with comments when Hallmark Channel stops airing Mad Hungry. I will really miss the show, but hopefully can still access this site for the menus I haven’t had a chance to try. I look forward to your new cookbook and hopefully another show soon.

    WHAT!!!! Mad Hungry is not going to be on anymore?! This is the Best show for recipes for today’s family! I have 3 boys and 1 daughter and Lucinda is right on the money with her meals! I watch almost every day and always end up making the dinners. I am sooooo disappointed, it just goes to show you that the TV people don”t know what the real people out here in TV land find important! Instead they put on all that reality junk! THANK YOU Lucinda, you have no idea how much you have helped my cooking skills, how much I enjoyed your boys on TV and most importantly for all the wonderful meals I have been able to make! I have your cookbook and it sounds like you have another coming out..woo hoo I will be buying it! Please get another show!!

    @Lee Ann Bullough:

    LSQ is busy developing a new show but a venue has not yet been announced. MH will aired on Hallmark Channel until 2013 (reruns of course) I suspect she has the backing for the development of a new show but still is working on a network to air it. I would also guess that there are several possible buyers for her show. I can’t believe that a food show as good as MH won’t be picked up by another cable channel. Cheers

    Hi,

    I just saw now on this page that Mad Hungry will not be showing anymore!!! Why? It is a very show & I hope Martha Stewart will ask Lucinda to make
    a new show with new recipes !!!

    Thanks Lucinda. I watch & tape your shows every day. I will miss it.

    Martha, Lucinda’s show is better than Emeril’s Table.

    We need new shows with new recipes, excellent recipes !!!

    Thanks.

    Minna

    Yes, we are getting conflicting messages. MH has said LSQ will be running shows on HM until 2013 but H/M says MH is over effective Oct 1st. Martha Stewart will be airing on PBS with a new cooking school program soon. Her empire has shrunk and I doubt she is able to sell any other shows to PBS just yet. LSQ got her show on H/M because at that time MS had a lot of pull at H/M. Kind of political situation I think.

    I can’t believe that one of the easiest-to-watch-and-learn-from cooking shows is going to be discontinued…what are they thinking?
    Lucinda, thanks for all of the great recipes and reminders that it’s important to cook with and for your family. I’ve enjoyed getting to know your young sons…no wonder you’re a proud mother!
    Shame on whoever it is who has decided to end this show! Phooey!!

    I’m really excited about the granola recipe. My mom used to make homemade granola when I was a kid and when it was cooking the whole house smelled wonderful! Looking forward to making this, thank you!

    The IDIOTS who run Hallmark should all be fired. The haven’t a clue what’s popular with their TV audience. They get a popular show like LSQ and haven’t the brains to realize what a prize the show really is. I have not watched Hallmark since you left. Have no intention of ever watching it again.
    Not sure that will bother them but if all LOYAL followers of LSQ did this it might smarten them up if that’s possible. But then look who we’re talking about.
