Recipes From Today’s Show: Chinese Takeout

Published by

TODAY on MHTV: Save some cash and make a healthier version of Chinese take-out at home. Cold sesame noodles tossed with scallions are a good contrast to stir-fried chicken with peanuts and red peppers. For something a little lighter on the side, a celery salad with chili oil and cilantro is the way to go. More from the show.

Hello. In my area (Weatherford, TX…near Fort Worth, TX), there are TWO Mad Hungry shows, back-to-back.
I can access the recipes on the first show which airs at 10 a.m., but the show which airs at 10:30 does not have the recipes listed as “recent posts”.

Could you tell me how to find those recipes?

Thanks so much. I really enjoy the show! Good job!

I want to let you know I enjoy watching your show. But I have an issue about your hands. You’re wearing red nail polish doesn’t look to clean while you’re cooking in the kitchen. Most of the chefs on the cooking channel have a fresh light colored polish on and it looks alot cleaner.

Lucinda: Great show even for the single person! Will you ever have shows with gluten free products? In my area I try to watch as many shows as time will allow at 10:00 a.m. Carol J. Mercer

    Hi Nancy,

At the end of every blog post and on the bottom of the Mad Hungry show page (http://marthastewart.com/tv/mad-hungry) is a link to the second show for that day (10:30 in your area).

    Here’s a link to today’s 2nd MH episode:

Let me know if you have any more questions.

    Thanks!
    Sam

many times when i try to view a recipe of yours or from martha’s show form the link, it flashes the recipe and then i get a blank white screen with the word ‘false’ in the upper left corner. What gives? This happened on the recipes from your Cast Iron skillet show. I hate to have to write them all down as you’re showing them. Thanks – love the show, but would like to get the recipes online.

    Lucinda,
You fixed some kale on a show about three weeks ago. Cant find your recipe on this. Will you send me or tell me how to find it? Thx

Hi, In the recipe Stir Fry Chicken and Peanuts, you mentioned the use of shaoxing cooking wine. What is shaoxing cooking wine – can anything else be used as a substitute? In this same recipe, could you use cashews instead of peanuts?
    Thanks so much,
    Pat Huff
