Recipes From Today’s Show: Freezer-Friendly Meals
TODAY on MHTV: The freezer is one of the kitchen’s best assets and when I’ve got free time, I like to stock it up with meals for the fam. Lentil soup is hearty and full of veggies—even hardcore meat-eaters will love it—and lasagna made with sausage and a simple homemade tomato sauce can go right into the freezer in the same pan it cooks in. My Aunt Patty’s coffee cake, with its delicious cocoa filling, is great for breakfast and even dessert with a scoop of ice cream. More from the show.

I love, love, love your program and recipes. I usually print at least one recipe a day and I am planning to buy your book very soon to save on paper! Delicious!!!!
Watched the show this afternoon with my son. I DVR all of them. He’s 9 years old. Seeing your sons in the kitchen has inspired him to want to help more. He wanted us to make the lentil soup. It was the best, so quick and easy. I got your cookbook for Christmas and love everything I’ve tried so far. Thanks.
I watched the show about freezing the lasagna and thought it was a great idea. I seem to have missed the cooking temperature and cooking time when the lasagna is frozen. Can someone help? I love the recipes that I have tried so far from this show. Being able to prepare food ahead is really good for me.
Thanks,
Dione
I made the Lasagna recipe today and it was a HUGE success. My family and friends loved it, so I printed everyone recipes to take home. I love to watch cooking programs and Mad Hungry has quickly become my favorite. Thank you, Lucinda Scala Quinn, for your excellent teaching skills. Even though, I have been cooking for years I learn new techniques from you every day!!
Great show, keep the good food coming!
