Recipes From Today’s Show: Girl’s Movie Night

Published by

Today on MHTV:With a house full of men, sometimes I just need a little girl time! When I have the girls over for movie night, I love making finger foods we can share. Sweet and sticky teriyaki-glazed wings get served up with crudites, while my shredded chicken and black bean nachos are piled high with Monetary Jack, jalapenos and sour cream. And to wash it all down, my creamy orange shakes are quick to make and end the night sweetly.

    Lucinda,

Guys like movie night also. Thanks for the recipes. I will use some for my Oscar night party. I see John Contratti launches Oscar night recipes on his blog starting on Monday, February 20. Between the two of you I will have lots of choices. Thanks.

    Lucinda,
Love, love, love MH recipes. I too have a house full of boys (one with a gluten allergy). My boys are young – 10, 6 and newborn. It is nice to check out what you are cooking and try new recipes. When I ask the older boys if they are enjoying our MH dinner, they both give me two thumbs up.

How come the Hallmark Channel advertises “all new” episodes of that Mark Marrone Pet Show? Please tell us new Mad Hungry episodes are going to be made.

    Thanks,
    Alan

How about getting young girls or young boys to cook? No better time than when they’re young. Check out this young girl above. In fact I believe this is one of your recipe’s. Pork Fried Rice. BTW she would most certainly LOVE to be on Martha’s show to do just that and a bit of entertaining as well. Hey, ya never know. Idea’s are what it’s all about. 🙂

We only get Mad Hungry once a day on Hallmark channel and sometimes I miss the early morning show. Will Lucinda have another time slot during the day/evening?
