Recipes from Today’s Show: Hungry Boy Breakfast

Published by

TODAY on MHTV: My youngest son Luca is a hardcore soccer player so before practices and games on the weekends I like to make sure he’s all fueled up. One of his favorite meals is pear-stuffed French toast; crispy, golden and covered in maple syrup it’s best served with a salty pork product. I like to make double pork sausages; bacon wrapped around my favorite breakfast sausage and baked in the oven. A homemade chai tea latte is flavored with a little honey, cloves and cinnamon for an easy morning pick-me-up. More from the show.

hate the new print type. when i copy the recipe now from your sight or blog as you call it , i can hardly read the recipe with magnifying glasses. The old way of printing was fineeee….really disappointed !!!

I totally agree with Karen 3/29/11, the print on the recipes is way too small for these old eyes. There is no way to increase the font size, so we are forced to use a magnifying glass or re-copy the recipe for our use. On the positive side, the program is wonderful, all recipes that have been tried are also very tasty and I love the interaction that is shared with Lucinda and her boys. They are delightful and make me smile as I watch, especially Calder who loves to share the camera with his mother and it comes through wonderfully.

Why is there no recipe search on your website

Started watching Lucinda’s show recently and love it! I especially like that Lucinda gives me confidence. For instance, she assures me that I can substitute an ingredient if I don’t have exactly what’s she’s using–fresh herbs are best but dried is OK in a pinch. Her sons are fabulous and it’s obvious they love their mom. BTW, is her husband’s name Ritchie or Richie? Are we ever going to get to see him or is he too camera shy?

6bPziz Good point. I hadn’t thought about it quite that way. 🙂

I watched a show where snacks were made but wasn’t able to get to computer to print off the recipe. Now when I have time there is no recipe search. I wanted to make the sausage and maple syrup snacks for this weekend but guess I’ll have to go somewhere else to see if they have a recipe search options. This is a real downer for this site. Makes me wonder why I bother coming here unless it is the day of the show. Oh to have such free time.
