Recipes from Today’s Show: Indian Vegetarian Dinner

TODAY on MHTV: I’m making a healthy vegetarian meal that’s so flavorful no one misses the meat. Sweet-and-spicy chickpeas are balanced by white rice, a cooling cucumber-yogurt salad, and a round of refreshing and creamy mango-cardamom lassi drinks. These dishes have “new family favorite” written all over them. More from the show.

    Lucinda,

I wanted to tell you that last night I made your lamb chop recipe. As a side I made your guests radicchio and endive with the chick peas and walnuts. It was a feast. It was a great combination. Thanks for the recipes.

I’m a huge chick pea fan. I love any recipes with chick peas. Todays’ sweet and spicy chick pea recipe looks great. Last night my husband brought home a loaf of italian bread. I made teacher John’s radicchio/endive with the chick peas. It was so delicious. The garlic and olive oil and walnuts with the italian bread…pure heaven. Thanks Lucinda.
