Recipes From Today’s Show: Indoor BBQ Recipes

Published by

TODAY on MHTV @ 11:30 a.m. ET: Everybody loves BBQ and today CQ and I are making it in the kitchen instead of on the grill. Grilling inside doesn’t mean you sacrifice the flavor when there’s no real smoke and fire. Instead, we build flavor; St. Louis-style ribs get a dry rub of brown sugar, smoky paprika, cayenne and a few other spices. Sides are just as important for a barbecue, and potato salad and tangy-sweet coleslaw do the trick. More from the show.

I was watching some older posts online and you said you wash your large bags from marinating in the DW. How do you do that?

  • Lucinda Scala Quinn January 31, 2011 at 1:45 pm

EJ: Turn the bags inside out, rinse and place over the rack in the dishwasher before washing.

LY: MH is on Tues-Fri at 11:00 am. Martha Bakes will be on Mondays for 13 weeks followed by MH at 11:30. Thanks for tuning in.

I would have to agree with your son’s suggestion on the bacon. You can never have enough pork!

Hello, Watch your show every day!! Have made several of your recipes and they were all HUGE hits with my family. On the show yesterday, your son made a comment about another side dish to go with the Indoor barbecued ribs, potato salad, cole slaw, etc… and he mentioned biscuits. Would you share your recipe for biscuits with me? I love a good home made biscuit and mine turn out different every time.

YUUUUMMMMM!!!! The oven roasted ribs look out of world. I will be trying this soon. Maybe not this weekend because of obligations at church, but soon maybe the next week end. Thanks for the great recipes.

I Love your show! Why can’t they leave your show alone and put Martha Bakes later in the day? I look forward to martha bakes but not during your time slot.
Your show is like visiting a friend in her kitchen, it warm and friendly and you can’t wait to run home and make the recipes.

I have an old stuffing rec. you might like.!head of celery 2large onions1pound of jack, sharp cheddar and parmazon cheese.one half pound of butter.1pound or good gdound round 1pound of hot italion sausage.1fresh loaf of freh bread.saute onions and celery with butter a little reserve the butter onions and celery let cool.saute sausage and ground round drain off fat let cool.Grate the cheeses and toss with fresh bread you have cubed. After everything has cooled toss together by hand. This will make 3 8 by 12 cake pans full.Good a family of your size.I do not stuff the turkey. While the turkey rests you put your pans of stuffing in until the cheese melts and browns.Everything comes to the table and you have more stuffing and 1 to spare or to freeze it freezes great for another day.Toms Italian Stuffing. What do you think?
