Recipe’s from Today’s Show: Italian Favorites

Published by

TODAY on MHTV: Growing up in an Italian family, all of my go-to comfort foods are—you guessed it—Italian. My favorite pasta dish is linguine with clams; fresh littlenecks or cockles tossed in pasta and drizzled with chili-infused olive oil. Bruschetta Pomodoro is a flavorful appetizer of crunchy garlic bread topped with fresh tomatoes and basil; it pairs perfectly with a fizzy aranciata cocktail. More from the show.

I discovered your show when the Martha show switched to Hallmark and I have been addicted ever since! I ordered both your books immediately and have been cooking from them. My husband LOVES everything that I make. Tonight I am doing the vinegar glossed chicken and mushrooms. Thanks to you, I can finally make the perfect pie crust which has in turn produced many apple pies – a favorite at our house. I also appreciate the fact that you give your audience alternatives when making recipes. For example, we are not rosemary fans here and you always include other suggestions to try. Linguini with clams is on the menu for tomorrow night. Thanks so much!!

Mad awesome!! Where have you been all my life?! I just found you and your fantastic cooking show recently on the Hallmark Channel and I have to say I am loving it!! The name Mad Hungry caught my attention but your delicious recipes keep me watching for more. I appreciate the fact that this is real food for real families, not that pretentious froufrou stuff that you see on plenty of cooking shows. Your presence in the kitchen is such a joy to watch!! I have saved every show on my DVR and I plan to make at least one recipe from every show. I am scared of cooking seafood but your linguine with clam sauce has me drooling. Keep up the great work, Lucinda! Thank you for making cooking exciting again.

Love, love, love the new show Lucinda, so new and refreshing. As a mother of two boys/men I can relate to the “Mad Hungry” concept. I ran right out and bought the cookbook. Everything I’ve tried from the book has been a huge success and I have received rave reviews. Continued good luck and wishes to you on your new show.

I wanted to say I absolutely love the “Mad Hungry” show on Hallmark. Lucinda is so ‘real’ and I love her recipes and approach to cooking. How she includes her family is also fun. I hope this program will continue for a LONG time!!!!!

I made the chicken parmesan, and it was great! it was easy and simple. Your show is so easy, no pressure with ingredients you have to go over seas to find. I’m a big fan, and will continue to support your show.
