Recipes from Today’s Show: Japanese Night
TODAY on MHTV: The flavors of Japanese cuisine are a big culinary inspiration for me, and today I’m sharing three of my favorite authentic recipes. Crispy pork tonkatsu (a breaded and deep-fried pork chop) is sliced and drizzled with a sweet and fresh dashi-mirin sauce. On the side: simple and light cabbage salad and my warm soba salad tossed with mushrooms and crisp cucumbers. More from the show.

Hi Lucinda,
You are the best. I was at a fundraiser at the “21 Club” last evening for a very worthy children’s charity. I met your teacher friend John Contratti. He was a really nice guy. So many people were quite interested on his unique teaching and also that he is a great cook. He shared his website which is really cool.
http://www.cookingwithmrc.tumblr.com Have you seen it? I heard he will be cooking on television again. When will he be back on Mad Hungry. I would love to see him cook some of the recipes that are on his blog.
Thanks,
Mark
