Lucinda, when you talk about things that your grandmother used to do, its amazing because my mother made some of the same things. Example chicken w/vinegar (my family loves this and no one else has ever heard of it) ITS DELICIOUS. also when you talked about how she cut off both ends of a string bean and today we don’t. I love your show and all your ideas (especially the ones from your grandmother). I have been watching you on other shows for a while and am glad to see this new show.

I saw a commercial for your show, watched one episode and I was hooked. I started taping the show and writing down the recipes and then bought your Mad Hungry cookbook. When I was growing up my father was the cook, but he didn’t like you in his kitchen. I wish he had taught me his favorite recipes. Your show and cookbook combined is like having a personal training session! I love it. I only wish I had this when my kids were still living at home. Both are in college. My daughter is into cooking and living on her own, so I gave her some sweet potatoes, mixed the spices and gave her the sweet potato fries recipe to make. Perhpas a Mad Hungry cookbook is in her future!!

Yes, it’s so cool when you discover shared cooking experiences. I’m so glad I had the time in the kitchen with my mom and grandma. Hope you stay tuned in.

Wow–hooked after one episode–I love that. And my boys and their friends in college love the recipes in MH. Def give it to your girl to help her along the way too.
    Thank-you for the support.

Lucinda, I love you, I love your show and I love the recipes you use. So much of what you comment on are like hearing myself talk. I love cooking and have taught cake decorating. This might be off the wall, but where do you purchase your tops that you wear? I love them and would love to buy some. Your best listener, Ruth
