Recipes from Today’s Show: Make-Ahead Family Meal

Published by

TODAY on MHTV: My brother and nieces are coming to visit so I’m prepping a couple dishes that I can make in advance and that are also kid-friendly. My deep-dish pizza dough comes together in a snap and rises overnight to guarantee a perfect crust every time. I use this to make focaccia topped with slow-roasted tomatoes which I serve sliced up like a pizza. Finally, the girls and I make meatballs and use a secret ingredient to keep them light and fluffy. Lucinda,
What a beautiful family. Watched the show with my son. Thanks to you, I have to make deep dish pizza this weekend. I’m guessing any toppings would be great on it?? Also, love the show. What great recipes can my family look forward to in the upcoming week?

    Sincerely,
    Pat

I made your pizza crust tonight and everyone loved it. After my boys ate the first one, I started to make a second one! It is in the oven right now. Great recipe! Thanks!

I’m watching the July 11, 2011 program on my Hallmark cable tv channel. The Salmon that marinates in ginger (and other spices) looks really good. My wife is a great cook and I wanted to forward this receipe to her, but I’m unable to find it anyware on your website. Please, send it to me. Thank you!
