Recipes from Today’s Show: Meatless Mushroom Pasta
TODAY on MHTV: After a long day, sometimes all you need is a big bowl of comfort food. Since I’m trying to go meatless at least once a week, this mushroom pasta with its cheesy, creamy sauce is exactly what I’m lookin’ for. A light side of pomodoro salad drizzled with olive oil doesn’t need any extra dressing and, for a little sweet, a bowl of chopped dark chocolate, toasted almonds and golden raisins is a great no-cook snack. More from the show.

I love your show ! However some of your comments kind of throw your mother under the bus. i dont like it and I wonder how she really feels about it. Your show would be better without those comments.
I tried this dinner tonight from Tuesdays show and WOW, so many compliments! The perfect meal to incorporate into our weekly agenda 🙂 Thanks!
The linked recipe for the pasta is not the same as demonstrated on the show. It stops short of just telling you how to saute the mushrooms. The show featured you adding cream and wine to make the sauce. If you saw the show it’s easy enough to figure out, but if you didn’t you’re missing a crucial step. I’d get it revised since it’d be a shame people are missing out on a great dish.
@Cris, the wine & cream are mentioned in the upper section. The original recipe is for sauteed mushrooms. If you click on the “expand” button you’ll see that you can add pasta and the other ingredients.
Whenever I try to locate the recipe for the meatless dinner and click on the recipe for pasta with mushrooms it takes me to the sauteed mushroom recipe.
Could you please correct that?
Thank you
On the recipe for pasta with mushrooms ~
I have clicked on the expand button and there is nothing on the proportions you use for the wine and cream and amount of pasta ? could you correct this ?
It would be nice to have the recipe as you prepared it on the show…
Thanks
The dish had a very good flavor to it, however I had to double the amount of cream, add almost a cup of the pasta water, a couple of tablespoons of sour cream and it was STILL very dry! Perhaps it is supposed to be that way, I can only imagine how tasteless it would had been had I followed the recipe exactly! A pound of pasta was way way too much…I would say half a pound and double the sauce!
I suppose you won’t approve this comment, but WHY bother posting a very partial recipe leaving out half of the ingredients? I like your show, but do you want people to fail when they try to replicate your recipes?
