Recipes from Today’s Show: Nostalgic Summer Menu

Published by

TODAY on MHTV: Summer always makes me think of my trips to Massachusetts to see my mom and all the great meals we shared during those visits. Today, I’m reminiscing and making my version of New England clam chowder. It’s a little lighter than the traditional soup but still rich in flavor; I mix the clam broth with half and half before adding herbs, veggies, and bacon. Then, I’m making the perfect dessert for summer: peach shortcakes with vanilla ice cream.

Hooray !! Some news that gives us more than hope. While planning out new shows, please get John Contratti to cook again. The recipes you made together are the most made recipes from your program. I think his blog is awesome. Can’t wait for you new cookbook, Lucinda.
