Recipes From Today’s Show: Pantry-Raid Puttanesca Meal

Published by

TODAY on MHTV:With the exception of a couple items I picked up from the grocery store,  this meal is coming straight from my pantry. Thanks to a couple cans of whole tomatoes, a few spices and a stash of pasta, I’m making bucatini tossed with fiery, homemade puttanesca sauce. Plus, a twist on my great grandmother’s pantry-friendly molasses cookiesMore from the show.

I thoroughly enjoy Lucinda Scala Quinn and love her recipes; but was disappointed today when she was on for only 30 minutes instead of one hour. Channel 191. 2/6/12

    Hi Lo,

    Lo,

Thanks for answering the two people on yesterdays blog. I can’t wait for new episodes. I’m glad Mad Hungry knows how much we enjoy the show and how much we love Lucinda. I hope that when new shows start filming, teacher/cook John Contratti will be back sharing more recipes. The talented man has a really cool blog and from what I;ve been reading has a gained a big following. So please bring him back when the show starts production again. Once again, thanks for acknowledging us.

    Best,
    Dina J.

    Lo,

So glad Mad Hungry lives on. I agree with Dina, I follow that teacher’s blog daily. It gets me through the week. Like to see the guy cook again too. Check it out.
