Recipes From Today’s Show: Put an Egg On It

Published by

TODAY on MHTV: I love eggs because you can include them in just about any meal. CQ’s here and we’re making 3 dishes (for breakfast, lunch, and dinner) that all have eggs! I’m topping fluffy pecan pancakes with a poached egg (plus a side of bacon, natch). Then for lunch, we’re making the ultimate grilled ham and cheese sandwich with a fried egg on top–the French call it a Croque Madame. Finally, a quick and easy Chinese egg noodle soup full of chicken, broccoli, and a poached egg with a couple dashes of Sriracha for dinner. More from the show.

    Hi Lucinda,

Great to see you back on the blog talking to all of us Mad Hungry lovers.
My kids love eggs. Actually, it’s funny you mentioned the Grande Pizza Omelette yesterday. I made it for dinner on Tuesday night. I remember the episode when you told viewers how it was named. I’m getting all the ingredients for that gentleman’s rolatinni for the weekend.

    Thanks,
    Alex

You mentioned a new cookbook yesterday. When will it be coming out?

    Thanks.

I can’t wait for a new cookbook. How do you come up with the recipes? My grandmother always had a story on how she came to have the recipes. Will you be doing that? What’s the format? The show has been exceptionally good this week.

    Dear Lucinda,

Like you, I have sons and they can eat. I will probably have to use 2 dozen eggs for your dishes. I DVR your show each day. I enjoyed yesterdays recipes. The rollatini looked wonderful and I love the vegetable combination with the walnuts. I thought your guest was quite informative. There is so much “testing” going on in schools, that kids need a teacher who is creative. Would love to see you work together again. Can’t wait for your cookbook. Hope you come to my town for a book signing.

    Sincerely,
    Aimee

P.S. My husband can’t wait for the Rollatini this weekend.

Your Mad Hungry cookbook is my bible. I refer to it every weekend. So a new cookbook will be so welcomed. I’m in full agreement with recent bloggers. You’re the best and yesterdays episode was very good. I want to make those cookies you gave the teacher for his students. They looked yummy.

You are the highlight of my day! I was so bummed when they stopped showing the second episode every day. But anyway, you are the best and i literally find myself salivating when i watch 🙂 I have celiac disease as well as allergies to soy and dairy so i can’t eat many of your delicacies but it still makes me happy to watch you create those wonderful dishes. And Calder is a doll…love when he is on!!! I bought your cookbook and the utensils you use for my mom.

I wish you all the best. Thank you for bringing a smile to my face every morning.

Great show with you and Calder today. I too usually DVR and watch at night, but under the weather this week. Loved yesterdays show with the teacher. His recipes looked delcious. As soon as I’m feeling better I’m shopping for both of the recipes.

Yes, let’s here it for male cooks. Calder seems like a natural cook in the kitchen. I like when you cook with your brother.
Love reading your blog and what people think of the show. Of course, we all think your the best.

I also loved your teacher friend. You seem quite at ease with your male guests. (lol) Keep up the superb job!!

If I could eat eggs every day I would. Thanks for todays recipes.
Do you have a release date for your cookbook?
We are making eggplant rollatini tomorrow night. Never know what to make on a Friday night after a long work week. From reading your blog, which I do each day, it seems many of your viewers are making eggplant for their families. 🙂 🙂 🙂 I think your husband should give it another try.

I wwas curious if you evrr considered changing the structure of your website?
Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.
But maybe you could a littlee molre in the way of content so people
could connwct with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or two pictures.
Maybe you could space it out better?
