Recipes from Today’s Show: Rice Two Ways

Published by

TODAY on MHTV: Calder and Luca are both home and I’m showing them how to make their favorite rice recipes, using regular leftover rice. First up, I shred tangy-sweet poached salmon into rice with pine nuts, raisins, and mint. Then something totally different: Thai-style fried rice with seared strips of pork loin and spicy green chile paste. More from the show.

Actually I have heard her mention the egg over rice before as well. I would like to know how you prepare that myself. Sounds Delish!!!

    Dear Lucinda,
This RICE TWO WAYS episode is my most beloved. It shows wonderful food and family together in the kitchen. I love how your sons interact with you because it reminds me of my own grown sons. Please have more shows like this where you have such honest unrehearsed interaction with your family. I remember when you had your nieces and made chocolate cupcakes. I turned that recipe into bundt cake and it is my family’s favorite chocolate cake now. I just absolutely love your cooking show. You bring a freshness to tv that is so lacking in today’s media. And your recipes! WOW, they are the best! I had to order your cookbook, too. It is fabulous! MY daughter-in-law could not put it down when she visited. Guess what will be under the tree for her at Christmas? Thank you, Lucinda, for sharing a little of your life experiences with us…
