Published by

TODAY on MHTV: The food at state fairs is always filled with nostalgia and comfort, and today I’m recreating some of those delicious dishes at home — sweet and savory corn dogs coated in a cornbread batter and fried, colorful candied apples, and funnel cake.

I believe in the past we were able to watch the weeks shows on this site. What happened to that? I wasn’t able to DVR any of the shows this week and wanted so much to make up by watching on the site but it’s not available any more. Is there any other way for me to “catch up” on what I missed? I like watching the recipes being made.

    Thanks!

I agree, where are the videos? Listen Hallmark Channel, don’t tamper with your best show. Bring back the attached videos with the recipes. Mad Hungry is the most “real” cooking show on the air. We all can relate to Lucinda.

I usually do not watch cooking shows, but I accidently watched Lucindas show and loved it immediately. Her cooking directions are easy and she never leaves out any steps. I would never had tried alot of her recipes if I hadnt seen her cook them. I love when her son cooks with her. She is easy to relate to. I am sad that I cant go back like I used to and get one of her recipes from a month ago.

Loved the State Fair show!!! I’ve never made candy (or candy apples) before and would like to know how to clean the pot after coating the apples. Looks like it might be difficult to get the goo off the inside of the pot. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I agree w these comments. I enjoy cooking, especially Lucinda’s receipes. They are easy, w easy to buy ingredients. Lucinda’s excellent in teaching every aspect of what to cook, slice, dice, bake, fry, freeze, etc. Who else is this thorough. Because of Lucinda, I am able to cook healthier, tastier, yummy food with few ingredients in a short period of time. She & sons are entertaining, too. Plz, bring back the how to videos. Many of us are visuals. Thx, Hummingbyrd53
