Recipes from Today’s Show: Steak House Supper
TODAY on Mad Hungry: One of the best things about a steak house dinner—besides the steak, of course—is all of the great sides that come with it. Make your kitchen prep easy with two no-cook sides: smashed tomatoes and deconstructed guacamole. And even though the juicy, grilled Latin-style steak is a showstopper, a crunchy and refreshing watercress, onion and radish salad is the perfect contrast. More from the show.

Lucinda, love your new show! Today, 9/29/10 watched 10-11am central and cannot find the second half hour ‘game day’ recipes with your chili… Where/when will they be posted?
Again, love your show and your sons! I’m a 70 year old gramdma and still learning!
Enjoy watching your Mad Hungry show but, just like Martha Stewart, you always run your hands through your hair and right after touch the food again.
Hi Lee,
The ‘Game Day’ episode originally aired last week. If you’re ever looking for recipes from past shows, you can check the Show Archive. Here’s the link:

I bought the Mad Hungry Cookbook and basically love it except for the Index. I think it makes it very hard to find recipes I saw on the show. I watched the show about “Grilled Latin-Style Skirt Steak” and it says it is in the book. Where is it? I have not found it in my book 🙁
Watched your show Friday (Steak House Supper) Sept. 23, 2011. Cannot find recipe for cleaning skillets and Pineapple up-side down cake. Would love to have both. Thank you Jessie
Watched your show today, Friday (Steak House Supper)Sept. 23, 2011 and really enjoyed it. I couldn’t find the recipe for Pineapple Up-Side Down Cake or the instructions for cleaning cast Iron Skillets. I would love to have both. I have several old family skillets that I wish to leave to my sons with instructions for their proper care and yours were the best that I have found. Thank you so much for your wonderful recipes and information. I really enjoy watching your shows. Thank you, Judith.
Thanks so much for sharing John Contratti’s Blog. It is very nice. I hope Mad Hungry has him back cooking with Lucinda very soon.
Catherine
your recipes are fabulous and fast and have a lot of style
Being a teacher, I too agree with so many viewers, lets see John Contratti back cooking again with some of his many great recipes.
