I am making the creamed spinach to go with dinner tonight (meatloaf). AND! I just ordered “Luicinda’s Authentic Jamaican Kitchen” And “Lucinda’s Rustic Italian Kitchen” from Amazon. I got an extra Italian Kitchen book for my friend. Tomorrow night or the next I am making “Tessie’s chicken” which is actually the Baked Crisp Parmesan Romano Chicken lol Thanks LSQ. Going to get into TMI, but my family had gone to the V.A. hospital with my father. It was getting later and later. I thought I would be nice and make dinner. I made the recipe on the side of the spam can. Need I say more. Good thing they already ate 😛 My mother never showed me how to cook, but now I am creating (really using LSQ recipes 😛 ) food so good in my kitchen for my family, my husband and son, that really makes a good meal and a good time.

I have recently discovered your show. I have been living abroad (Europe and Africa) since 1972 and find it wonderful to see great European and other international “flavors” celebrated in your recipes. However, I live in rural Ohio and find it difficult to find many ingredients…(we do not have a handy Whole Foods nearby) not only for your recipes but the ones I have become at home with in Europe. Any mention of usable, findable substitutes (we cannot even find leeks around here)would be more than welcome.
Luv that show!! Keep it up!!

P.S. Is it possible to buy DVDs of the show?
