TODAY on MHTV: You can’t really go wrong with steak and potatoes; it’s a delicious, hearty meal that can be put together in a snap. Get the most bang for your buck by using an inexpensive cut of meat like hanger steak (save the more pricey cuts for date night) and marinate it in red wine, making the meat tender and full of flavor. Serve up sides like a real steak house and try my bistro oven fries and creamed spinach— so good, even spinach haters can’t resist.     Sam – Thanks so much for the links. That is what Peg and I were searching for and I did find it doing a search using only the word Mustard as I had said earlier. I do have a question though….. I have ordered the Mad Hungry Cookbook but it hasn’t arrived yet. Will this recipe be in it or should I use my own printer ink and print it out? Thanks for your reply and THANK YOU for this show – it has made a 54 year old learn to cook! I am loving it. I also love the shows where the kids come to help.

    Lucinda, your show is outstanding. I like your style of cooking for men. Hearty and simple, but sophisticated presentation. Tried to get your recipes first week, no luck. Glad to see them now. Like your new hair style too. Hope your new show is a hit with viewers.

    LOVE your show. I watch it faithfully as I work out on the treadmill. Then I go to your blog to copy the recipe’s. My family of 7 is really enjoying them and my girls especially like when your son’s are on.
    Today I am going to copy the fish recipe you did with the girl friend. I just love fish.
    I also really like your motto, “Bringing the family meal back” (something like that). I haven’t always been good at getting a healthy meal on the table with our busy lifestyles but I am re-committing myself to accomplish this much-needed family time.

    I just tried to make the pudding from my copy of the book and I guess I will have to buy whole milk just for when I make this. It didn’t thicken up with the 1% that I have. Either that, or I didn’t have my heat on high enough.
