Today on the MARTHA show we stir fryed, one of my moms 70″s dinner staples. She’d roast pork tenderloin one night and make stir fry the next with the left over pork. (How she had leftovers, I’ll never know). It was one of my favorite meals. It was straight up derivative house wife cooking. Of course the traditions of stir frying which abound in Asian cultures are nuanced and delicious, differing from country to country and even stylistically within. hi again- Greg here. I picked up your cookbook, Mad Hungry- working my way through it- made the banana bread and blueberry bran muffins for work tomorrow – my day to bring treats. The banana bread sunk a little, I doubled the recipe so it might have been something I did plus one pan was metal, one glass- seemed like the metal did better… will try again, they smell great!I also picked up the new Michael Pollan book – Food Rules, much like your philosophy. Our healthy living group at work is pushing weight watchers, went to the intro session yesterday, not for me… and the "products" they push are disgusting, not a drop of food in them! I can't see counting points forever.Intuition, awareness, movement and home cookin – I'll keep you posted on the weight loss. Best-Greg

Your back in business! Nice to see you're starting to overcome your technology challenges. Loved the stir fry segment. The honey ginger chicken stir fry is on the menu for tonights dinner. Thanks, Lucinda!

Banana bread a big hit – ditto the muffins. I made your rice with a big pot of homemade veggie soup tonight – first time the rice actually turned out good – thanks! It was good plunked down in the middle of the soup.Best-Greg
