Bird of The Future

This weekend the boys took the leftovers from my photo shoot and made the craziest bird! Two pounds of bacon wrapped around a 15-pound turkey slow smoked with applewood in the extra large big green egg. The bacon came off just before the end and was glazed with a scotch-cherry sauce while the bird finished roasting the skin to golden deliciousness.
