Recipes From Today’s Show: Lunch on the Go

TODAY on MHTV: Life gets is busy which all the more reason for you and yours to stay well-fed. I’m making a full lunch—no-bake dessert included—that you can take with you anywhere. To make sure I can pack pressed sandwiches full of things like grilled vegetables and prosciutto, I hollow out the bread to make extra room. Then, a creamy tomato-buttermilk soup can be made in advance and stored in a thermos—that way you don’t even have to worry about taking a bowl with you. And that no-bake dessert I mentioned? Peanut butter rice krispies cookies take just minutes to prepare and are one of my faves. More from the show.

WoW! I just made the no bake peanut butter rice crispie treats! My family always made a variation of the recipe with corn flakes instead. It was very simple and I’m sure my husband will love them!
