Recipes From Today’s Show: One-Pot Holiday Cooking

Published by

TODAY on MHTV: Running around during the chilly holiday season makes me want food that is warm and cozy, and I always have a few comfort-food recipes ready for when the craving hits. I like to serve my version of boeuf bourguignon as a soup—it’s full of tender short ribs and chunks of veggies. To soak up all the extra liquid, buttery herbed egg noodles get added to the pot and on the side, a loaf of golden brown horseradish chive bread. More from the show.

Regarding Apple Crisp recipe. On your show you added 1/4 cup of the oats, but in your cookbook you have listed 3/4 cup. I want to make soon – which is correct? I have all three of your cookbooks and watch and record all of your shows. If you make a recipe that is not in any of your books, I copy it. Then I watch your shows and make notes of any changes you make on the actual recipe. Thank you.

I just made this for dinner last night, it was delicious. The horseradish buttered bread was fantastic! A new favorite. Thank you so much, everyone loved the meal. Your show is my favorite, elegant and comforting food.

I haven’t tried the soup…yet, but I’m in love with your ladle. Where did you get it and who makes it?
