Recipes from Today’s Show: Breakfast on the Run

Published by

TODAY on MHTV: Breakfast is the most important meal of the day but you may not always have time to sit down and eat. BUT, I’ve got a few delicious options you and the fam can take on the road like a cool and creamy oatmeal smoothie that’s flavored with raspberries and poured in a to-go mug to enjoy while you’re out. Slices of a Spanish frittata can be easily wrapped in parchment paper, pb and j pancake sandwiches (I just use leftover pancakes I have in the freezer) are wrapped up in tin foil, and maple syrup-infused blueberry bran muffins are a sweet hand held treat. More from the show.

Where can we purchase one of the smoothie recyclable cups you used for Oatmeal Smoothies? What’s its brand name?

Regarding the muffins, and the smoothie -both looked delicious -didn’t know you could eat the oatmeal raw. One thing concerns me – I seem to get the impression that you believe maple syrup and honey are not actually sugars, when of course they are, just in another form. The nutritional content is the same. Perhaps I was mistaken…just wanted to clarify the fact that sugar is sugar. Sure you knew that!

This is not the recipie from the show I didn’t see her use an egg on the show – I assume that goes in the cheese mix, but she didn’t use spinach either…and I too am also confused about how to cook the frozen recipie…do you just put it into the oven and for how long?

    Hi Everyone,

There’s an internal issue at the moment, we’re working through it and should hopefully have everything up and running again soon.

Thanks for alerting us to the issue, and I’ll let you know when the recipes are restored.

    Thanks!

I would really like to use your receipes, but when I print them out the print is so small I can’t read them. It would really be nice to regular size print.

    Thank you

Just love Lucinda. We call her our TV friend. We look forward to the show every day. Shopping for the foods and cooking together make our day.

I made the blueberry muffins but the oven temp or time you use maybe off. Mine came out quite brown and overdone. I use an oven thermometer so I know it was 400.
