TODAY on MHTV: Make something that will impress your guests without driving you crazy in the process. Pork tenderloin and roasted vegetables are cooked in the same pan and topped with a fig chutney. On the side, a beautiful tomato and roasted beet salad is topped with shredded mint, and an open-faced plum cake for dessert will have people asking for seconds—luckily one recipe makes two cakes. As a wife and mum of seven sons, you can imagine why I was immediately attracted to your book, Mad Hungry, in the library. Last night, I made the chocolate chip oatmeal cookies at 9:30 p.m.- not my time to feel like baking. They were so easy and the unanimous verdict from the Magnificent Seven( and hubs) is that the recipe is a definite keeper. On to pumpkin flan for Romantic Dinner with Hubby on Saturday night. Thank you.

I really enjoyed watching your show. I really learned a lot today. I learned how to season your iron frying pans which I have wanted to know for quite some time! I do not like to use the teflon pans that everyone is using, I feel they are dangerous and we are getting some of that plastic in our stomaches when we do use them which is not healthy. I watched the show and it was so easy to understand. I learned more from her than any other person on tv! She was so easy to understand. And the food looked delicious! Just like my mother used to make!!! Which is outstanding. My mother cooked her meat much longer than most people. I watched her do the steak in a iron frying pan and cook it for 90 mins. It looked so fantastic! Thanks so much. The plum cake, I watched the episode of the pineapple upside down cake…….yummy!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks so much!
