Recipes From Today’s Show: Easy BBQ Menu

Published by

TODAY on MHTV: My family loves BBQ and with a little make ahead prep, it’s perfect for a weeknight meal. I marinate pork shoulder chops in garlic, sage and some beer for a flavorful marinade that will keep them juicy, then brush them with a tangy BBQ sauce before I toss them on the grill. For some green, a crunchy kale slaw drizzled with a peanut dressing won’t last long and a spicy side of corn on the cob coins with Scotch bonnet peppers simmer away on the stove while the chops are on the grill. More from the show.

    Happy Labor Day Lucinda,

Being a teacher, I had the opportunity to watch Mad Hungry all summer long. I learned of your show through teacher John Contratti’s blog. So many teachers are huge fans of his and when I learned about your show through him, I tuned in the whole summer. It’s a part of my day. You have a great show. I hope it will continue on. I would love to see Mr. C. return and cook with you when you are back with new shows. Happy Fall !!

On today’s show, you used your “Cast Iron Grill pan.” Where could I find a grill like that one? My husband and I love your show, and we’re both “faithful watchers!”

    Thanks.

I know you have a big teacher following. It’s back to school tomorrow. I have to say that John Contratti has turned me on to your show and I also purchased your cookbook. I do hope you are back with new shows soon. For all the teachers who follow Mad Hungry and John Contratti, we are thankful for both of you. Back to School sandwiches and cookies all this week on Mr. C.’s blog. Check it out. I liked the cob coins today on MH.

I have to agree with Chris, John Contratti’s blog is one of the best out there.
