Recipes From Today’s Show: Fried Chicken

Published by

TODAY on MHTV: All the Quinn boys are here and we’re making not one, but two kinds of fried chicken. My favorite version, Miss Lamie’s Jamaican fried chicken has an unusual method but is so delish, and, classic Southern-style chicken goes more traditional with a buttermilk/hot sauce marinade. On the side, I’m cooking up fresh kale to add a little green to everyone’s plates. More from the show.

Where is the recipe for the shortribs from Wednesday’s show, 01/02/11 at 11:30 A.M.? You need a section where you can type in the recipe or date it appeared on TV and up it will come. Food Network does that rather well. My mouth was watering for this dish. Why wasn’t it on your blog? Please include it soon. No sense watching the show if can’t get recipes. db

I love Lucinda’s show. It’s the new favorite of several of my friends. We all have one hope though, and that is that she doesn’t continue to push her hair out of her eyes, as done today, ad then continue to touch food…yuck!
Unfortunately her boss, Martha Stewart, does this all the time, double yuck!!!!

    Hi Dawn,

We reference every 11:30 a.m. ET show in the main blog post for the 11 a.m. ET show, and link to the 11:30 show page.

You can also search for recipes in the show archive on marthastewart.com; the link for that directly is below or you can click on the link on the right hand side of the blog, the title of the section is “Looking for Recipes from MHTV?”, and it will take you there as well:

    http://www.marthastewart.com/tv/mad-hungry/show-archive

The show archive is organized by date and lists all the shows that aired in the 11:00 am time slot; however, there is a link on the bottom of that show page to the 11:30 show.

The Short Ribs Menu episode has been featured on the blog as well and can be found by using the blog search feature.

Here is the direct link to the Short Ribs Menu episode:

    Hope that helps!

Oops I was putting Grocerys away and listening to the prep for Fried Chicken and I combined the Marinarde of Miss Lamie and the Southern Quick Fried chicken and it is in the fridge as I type. Now I’m wondering which recipe to follow to fry it up. Help!
Love your show it inspires me to cook. I made the broiled serloin with the grilled onion/vinegar pan sauce. It was delicious and so simple. (used Balsamic instead of red wine because that is what I had) Thank you, Mychon

It’s the Jamaican fried chicken that sounds so good, can’t wait to try it. I’m sure the little extra’s will be worth it.

    Tempting and Delicious Recipe!

I have a homemade version for a number of KFC recipes among them the most famous finger licking good fried chicken and also the crispy-luscious, mouth watering buttermilk chicken recipe. While making the recipes one can fill the moist, crunchy and tasty chicken ever made.

    Yummy!!!

They seem to have gone the extra mile to ensure that every customer’s experience is a positive one. Online coupons for pizza often have coupons codes that you have type in when you order a pizza from a pizzeria’s website.
The best way to order a pizza is to use your cell phone.
