Recipes from Today’s Show: Indoor BBQ

Published by

TODAY on MHTV: Summer may be over, but that doesn’t mean you have to say goodbye to BBQ. My pulled pork starts with a rub of brown sugar, cumin, and paprika. Then I braise it in Guinness beer until it’s so tender it pulls apart at the slightest touch. I serve it with my tangy and smooth North Carolina BBQ sauce, coleslaw, grilled peaches, and a pitcher of citrus black tea. More from the show.

I might be having a senior moment but I am looking for a recipe you did that used chicken and italian dressing. Actually the recipe belonged to someone else but you modified it. Can’t find it in the archives.

    Kathy,
Try this link and see if this is the recipe that you are looking for. http://blog.madhungry.com/2011/03/recipes-from-today%E2%80%99s-show-parmesan-chicken-dinner.html

It seems it is getting more and more difficult to search the madhungry site for past recipes. Requests to make it easier to find/print recipes , plus requests to bring back the videos, evidently are being ignored.

I know I am frustrated, and I believe a lot of other folks are also. Anyway, I hope this is the recipe that you wanted.

I made this recipe on Sunday and used the crockpot since it continues to be in the 90s here in AZ. It was wonderful, Obi should add that I had a pork loin roast very lean so when I shredded the roast I added a bit of the cooking liquid and a ltouch of. BBQ sauce to keep it moist in the crockpot.

I agree with the others that finding recipes is getting more and more difficult.. Please listen to suggestions . I purchased the mad hungry cookbook and it often does not contain recipes from the first season which was a surprise.

Love the show and Lucinda – please have Sara on more often Love her as well from everyday foods.
