Recipes from Today’s Show: Osso Buco

Published by

TODAY on MHTV: Sundays are one of my favorite days to lounge around the house with the fam and cook a delicious, relaxing dinner. My husband brought home beautiful veal shanks and asked me to make osso buco; a classic Italian dish where the veal is braised until it’s super tender: Sooo good! It’s traditionally served with creamy risotto Milanese, a slow-cooked Arborio rice seasoned with saffron. With some leftover risotto I made a snack for Monday, forming the extra risotto into patties that are lightly fried in olive oil and sprinkled with grated Parmesan. More from the show.

Oh the osso buco looks AMAZING! I have been to afraid to try it in the past but you make it look so achievable and yummy!
I do have a question for you…. How do you make chicken genovese? Do you marinate the chicken in pest a bit and then cook or do you dab it in pesto and cook right away?

I love your show. I am having trouble downloading some recipes, and I’m glad to hear that you are aware of this problem. I’m trying to get the ‘Tomato & Onion Stew’ you served with Fried Chicken. I don’t fry chicken anymore, but thinking I will again soon, it looked so good. Thank you
