Recipes from Today’s Show: Simple Entertaining

Published by

TODAY on MHTV: Whenever someone asks for an entertaining idea that’s simple, sophisticated, and budget-friendly, I usually think mussels. My brother David is here and we’re baking the dark-blue mollusks inside a parchment pocket with white wine and a tomato-parsley sauce. Eggplant dip with warm flatbread and crisp veggies is a no-fail appetizer, and fresh pears with gorgonzola, honey, and walnuts, a no-fuss dessert. More from the show.

Watch “Mad Hungry with Lucinda Scala Quinn” Mondays through Fridays at 12 p.m. ET/11 a.m. CT on Hallmark Channel.

LOVED your brother on the show; he’s my favorite of your guests so far, and I hope he’ll be back soon. I loved seeing the playfulness nature you two have with each other.

So glad to see you back with new episodes. Those amateurs over at the Food Network have NUTHIN on you! Thy can’t hold a CANDLE to your experience, easy going nature and truly simple, unpretentious) recipes AND personality. It took me a few episodes to get on board the MH train, but now I’m in for the long haul.

PS LOVE your naturally animal-free foods (like that YUM eggplant dip) as I’m vegan and the less work I have to do redesigning a recipe, the better!

What happened to your Recipe Archives – spot? I used that a lot – can’t find it now –

I tried to find your recipes from the previous days but can only find today’s. Is there a glitch somewhere?

Same as above. I’m not liking the new MS website family. The archive is gone so finding recipes is pretty ridiculous – for either site! There is, at least, a VERY SMALL print option on Martha’s site but I can’t find anything like it on your blog. To print, even with selection I’m getting a lot of stuff I neither want nor need. At this point, I’m not even going to bother with the recipes. Would like to try but too much trouble…

You actually make it seem so easy together with your presentation however I to find this topic to be really one thing which I think I might by no means understand. It sort of feels too complex and very vast for me. I am looking forward for your subsequent submit, I’ll try to get the hold of it!
