Recipes from Today’s Show: Spaghetti Bolognese

TODAY on MHTV: Spaghetti bolognese is one of those “Sunday supper” meals — it takes forever to slowly cook and is delicious when finished. Not wanting to give up my favorite dish when the craving called on weeknight, I took it upon myself to make a Bolognese that takes a fraction of the time but doesn’t sacrifice any of the flavor! Since the sauce is on the heavy side, I’m pairing it with a light escarole side salad. More from the show.

When making the Independence Icebox Cake!!! You MUST whip the cream and sugar to STIFF peaks, the recipe calls for SOFT peaks. Please, please correct!! Mine flopped because of this problem. Thank you and heads up to all you ice box cake makers.
