Recipes from Today’s Show: Summer Inspired Menu

Published by

TODAY on MHTV: Summer has officially arrived, as have the high temperatures – so, I decided to make a refreshing, light meal to cool off. Chicken paillards (thin slices of chicken breast) are topped with crispy lettuce, beans and a salty/savory pan sauce. For dessert, I’m making a yogurt-based cake flavored with orange juice and zest—it’s super moist and I dust it with confectioners’ sugar for a little something extra. Plus, I stir up a crisp and fruity cocktail made with basil.

Has anyone realize Martha Stewart is in charge of Mad Hungry not Lucinda or Hallmark.

Actually Anne, it’s the Hallmark Channel that is in charge of Mad Hungry. Can’t produce more episodes of a beloved cooking show, if the NETWORK doesn’t let you. Hopefully you have called up the Hallmark Channel and voiced your opinion.

I just hope that Mad Hungry will eventually continue on another network. Hallmark doesn’t know what a gem the show is.
