Recipes from Today’s Show: Summer-Inspired Menu

Published by

TODAY on MHTV: The weather in NY is getting warmer and I can’t wait for summer, so I decided to make a light, healthy meal to welcome the season. Chicken paillards (thin slices of chicken breast) are topped with crispy lettuce, beans and a salty/savory pan sauce. For dessert, I’m making a yogurt-based cake flavored with orange juice and zest—it’s super moist and I dust it with confectioners’ sugar for a little something extra. Plus, a refreshing and fruity cocktail made with basil. More from the show.

Okay, just had to write on this one. Was watching program (Easy BBQ) for the first time and you said that you had never heard of marinating your steaks or meats in beer. Seriously?! Welcome to the South!

Please fix this problem of the advertisement using another whole page when printing the recipie. It is wasteful and could be on there in an empty space on the recipie. besides that , I see the advertisement, but dont want to print it. than you

I love your show and have made several of the recipes and my husband thinks they are delicious. I have been watching it the last couple of months! I thought cooking was a lost art. I know many women who don’t cook at all. However, there are so many cooking shows on TV someone must be I interested!

    Keep up the great work.

We loved this salad/meal. I made this last night for my husband but with pork medallions that I had already defrosted. The green beans and onions made the salad fun but I did add my good balsamic to it and it was sweet and flavorful. First time in 27 years I have seen him eat a salad without adding extra dressing.

Love the show and your style of cooking.

    Thanks for sharing

I’m a big fan — do you ever cook brown rice or always just white?
